were taken in Mineola, Texas around 1975. Missouri Pacific typically
ran GP-38s or SD-40 locomotives. Once I saw an SD-45(I think). The
trains usually had around 120 cars and ran around 40 to 60 mph. |
Track inspectors walk the rails looking for problems. Three
GP-38s pulling around one hundred cars slowly crawls through
Mineola on a nice summer day.
